Southern California's own Science Fiction Theater is set to enter the studio to record their 2nd album. The band features Mike Jimenez (ex-Rufio drummer). Science Fiction Theater, often referred to as SFT by fans, is making plans to release a series of new singles to be released periodically throughout 2010. The singles will be accompanied by video of the band recording the songs live-in the studio. The band plans to stick with producer Shawn Sullivan for the singles.

Science Fiction Theater's debut album was mastered February of 2009 by Pete Lyman (Bloc Party, The Mars Volta) and self released in March. The album has been praised by music critics and bloggers alike. With little to no commercial push Science Fiction Theater's debut album has already sold thousands of copies worldwide.
