PARLOVR to Release 'Hell/Heaven/Big/Love' on Dine Alone Records
It has been a very busy year for Montreal-based Parlovr (pronounced Parlour). Since re-releasing their critically acclaimed, self-titled LP on Dine Alone Records, the indie “noisy pop” outfit has been busily writing new material for an upcoming EP, and touring as far as China for a week long stint as part of a special showcase for transmitChina.
Set for release on October 19, the band’s latest EP 'Hell/Heaven/Big/Love' is a four-track collection of songs recorded with Martin Horn at Digital Bird Studios in Montreal. What began as a song the band had been playing on tour (“Hell, Heaven") evolved in the studio into four tracks that range thematically from tales of androgynous past lovers to obscure 70’s performance artists.
