IMMOLATION First Week Sales Numbers Revealed
New York death metal legends Immolation have scanned approximately 1,600 copies of their new album 'Majesty and Decay' in it’s first week of release in the United States. The CD landed at position No. 29 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
'Majesty and Decay' was recorded once again at Millbrook Sound Studios in New York with longtime producer Paul Orofino. Mixing duties were handled this time by Zack Ohren (Decrepit Birth, Suffocation, All Shall Perish). Cover art was created by Pär Olofsson (The Faceless, Immortal, Abysmal Dawn).
Immolation recently wrapped the “Those Whom The Gods Detest Tour” as direct support to NILE.
