HARDDRIVE Announces Inaugural National Tour
United Stations nationally syndicated radio show HardDrive has announced its inaugural national concert tour featuring All That Remains, Lacuna Coil, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, From Sword to Sunrise and Taking Dawn. The excursion will begin in Albany, NY on September 22, and is scheduled to hit over forty markets across North America. The on-sale will be staggered with shows from Albany through Chicago available Saturday, August 15, and the remainder of the dates up on August 21.
HardDrive host Lou Brutus will be on-hand for some of the dates, where elements of the radio show will be worked in to the evening’s program of the live event. Local radio affiliates will be giving away tickets, meet and greet passes and VIP packages imminently. The HardDrive Live tour is produced by Mike Childs and Ledge Entertainment.
HardDrive with Lou Brutus debuted on July 5, 1996. With 125 radio stations broadcasting the show, HardDrive is America’s longest running new rock show supporting the careers of hundreds of groups from Korn to Five Finger Death Punch. Multi-platinum metal band Slipknot received some of their first national airplay on the two-hour week-end syndicated show. United Stations acquired the series in 2001, and in 2007 originator / producer Roxy Myzal developed the Monday through Friday spin-off HardDrive XL, also featuring Lou Brutus.
On the creation of the tour, HardDrive host Lou Brutus offers, “After thirteen years as the most kickass new rock show on radio, HardDrive Live will now be unleashed as the greatest music tour known to man or beast. Leave your earplugs and your good shoes at home.” All That Remains Phil Labonte stated, “Hey, so we're just about to wrap up our summer tour and have a bit of time off before we hit the road for The HardDrive Live tour. We'll be spending the two months with our Italian friends Lacuna Coil! So come check us out cause we're gonna be on tour all fall, and that means we'll be near YOU! Get Into It!”
Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia shared, “It’s going to be exciting because we love touring and we’re gonna have another chance to play the new songs from ‘Shallow Life’. Plus we’re going to be playing in front of a different crowd which is always challenging for us and we love it.” Former Underoath front man and current Maylene & The Sons of Disaster singer Dallas Taylor commented, “We are honored and thankful to be asked on to the HardDrive Live Tour.”
