BREAKSILENCE RECORDINGS Announces Finalists For ‘Win A Recording Contract’ Contest
California based BreakSilence Recordings has announced the finalists in their Revolver Magazine sponsored contest to win a recording contract with the label. The winner will be announced in December and be awarded a recording contract from BreakSilence Recordings, an endorsement deal from Ernie Ball, a feature in Revolver magazine, gear from Schecter Guitars, Daisy Rock guitars, and custom EMG pick-ups.
“Dave Aguilera VP of A&R for BreakSilence Recordings here. We’ve listened to hundreds of bands from coast to coast, watched them live on tour, and we’ve narrowed it down to a short list of the best of the best. I want to personally reach out and thank all the sponsors involved in this contest (Revolver Magazine, Ernie Ball, Schecter Guitars, Daisy Rock guitars and EMG pick-ups), as well as all of the promoters that helped make this tour such a success. Most of all I wanted to thank all of the fans who came out and supported Eyes Set To Kill’s headlining tour and all of the bands that entered and played the shows."
"I know for some of you this is an exciting time, and for some this is disappointing, but look up there's always tomorrow. I'm sure a lot of you know my history in the music business and let’s just say it took many times losing a contest like this to figure out what I needed to do to make it on tours like Ozzfest and Warped Tour. I'm living proof that your dreams can come true if you just keep trying and do it for the right reasons. Once again, never give up on your dreams and good luck in the future.”
The finalists were judged by the band, management, and label staff. The top seven finalists are:
